NEW RELEASE
From 1991-1994, Justin played alto saxophone in the award winning and internationally performing MacArthur High School Jazz Band.. Downbeat Magazine chose him as the Best Student Jazz Soloist in North America in 1994. He also served a brief stint as a clarinet and saxophone player with the I Corps Army Band at Ft. Lewis, WA. After a 2-year residence in Washington state (Tacoma, Puyallup, and West Seattle), he returned to Decatur, Illinois to record his music. He is currently at work on more music and a book. Some of the most interesting lyrical imagery (Alice in Wonderland meets the Apocalypse) and musical textures --from trippy keyboards and odd distorted guitars to beautiful piano textures. There is even a strangely haunting violin-sounding sax solo in 'Aquantummyopia'.
